I believe that great teachers are those that seek out opportunities for personal and professional development, and opportunities for leadership within their school and greater community. I believe that ongoing professional learning allows teachers  to gain greater knowledge that they can apply in the classroom in order to help their students. By taking on leadership roles within their school and greater community, teachers are leading by example and showing their students that they care about their school. Professional development and involvement within the school community can only improve teacher practice and foster greater dedication and passion in our teachers to improve their practice and to continue making a difference in the lives of their students. .
