Community/ Co-curricular Involvement
During my Extended Classroom Practicum I was involved in the school community by:

Participating in school wide initiatives such as spirit days and Pink day

Assisted AT in running meetings with student council

Assisted the school in their media night by providing childcare during the presentation

Assisted in raising awareness of the upcoming "Pedal for Hope" fundraiser
As a teacher I will ensure to contribute to the school community beyond my classroom responsibilties. I plan on getting involved in the school community by:

Voluteering to run a club or committe such as a sewing club or a knitting club

Get involved with school events and initiatives

Assisting colleagues with their initiatives

Planning events for staff outside of school hours and events for staff members such as birthday celebrations, baby showers, retirements parties etc.
